WOUND

 

My name is Lia, I am a girl who will continue her studies abroad with the scholarship I got. The night my mother gave me a plane ticket to Boston, she told me that I finally got the chance to get the scholarship I signed up for. I immediately hugged my mother, I was very happy to be able to continue my studies abroad, even though I have no experience with the outside world, but I still feel very exited without the slightest worry, and also I don't have to deal with the atmosphere at home that always makes me depressed. But on the other hand, I don't want to leave my mother, she is always an outlet for my father's anger when he is under the influence of alcohol. I asked my mother

"Mom come with me" but my mother answered

"No sweet heart, mother will not leave your father here alone, even though your father is like that he actually loves us" he replied while rubbing my head

To be honest, I was very upset and sad when I heard my mother's answer. I know, my father is indeed a good person and loves his family very much but since the incident 2 years ago when he had to lose one leg in an accident, this caused him to be unable to return to work or earn money. From then on, my father turned into a sentimental person and drank a lot, but even so, my mother never had any intention of leaving my father.

The next morning with a heavy heart, I finally left my mother and father at home, before leaving luckily my father was in good condition, then he gave me a letter and kissed my forehead saying

"Be careful on the road, baby, I'm proud of you. Don't forget to always take care of your health and take care of yourself while there, don't worry Mom and Dad we will be fine"

"Dad, please take care of Mom, don't drink and then express your emotions to Mom, I beg you," I said while holding my father's hand.

My dad just smiled and nodded his head. At least this will calm me down while I'm gone.

After that I approached my mother and hugged her tightly, my mother cried in my arms while rubbing my head continuously. Just like my father, my mother also gave me a letter

“Lia, please take good care of yourself there, don't get hurt. Don't forget Mom and Dad" he said with a smile and then kissed my forehead.

"Of course Mom, how could I forget you" I replied while hugging my mother again before I really left

After saying goodbye, I finally really left the house to continue my studies there. This is my first experience going away from my parents. I was worried because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to socialize properly there, but my mother always gave me encouragement that could really change my thinking.

After several hours on the way, I finally arrived at the destination. When I got there, I was greeted by someone who seemed to be studying there who also received a scholarship like me, she was carrying a medium-sized banner displaying "Welcome to Boston Lia". After seeing her I smiled and approached her.

"Hi" I said

“hmm hi, are you Lia?” she asked as she put my shoulder

"Uh yes, I'm Lia" I replied with an awkward smile

"Hey, just relax, don't overdo it. Meet me Dina, in the future we will be roommates" she said kindly while holding out her hand inviting me to greet, then I smiled back, but the smile that formed on my face this time was a smile with pleasure and joy, because finally I could find a friend in the first day I came, I thought.

After that we went to our destination using the car that Dina brought. During the trip, Dina and I chatted like friends who had met for a long time. Looks like I'll be good friends with Dina. While saying that, it didn't realize that we had arrived at the hostel where I would later live. Dina and I got out of the car

"Well, this is our dormitory," said Dina, pointing to the location of the dorm using her finger

The first time I saw the dormitory, the dormitory looked like the dormitory that I always saw in general, it's just that in this dormitory I felt that there were no residents because it was so quiet, even in the outside courtyard which was fairly beautiful with the flower garden there weren't any there.

"is nobody here? it’s seems so quite" I asked confused

"Oh, as far as I know, students who live in this dormitory are on leave."

"Oh I see" I replied nodding my head

"Come on, let's go in" said Dina while embracing my shoulder to follow her into the dormitory

I'm a little scared by the atmosphere here, it looks like a horror movie that ghosts will appear at any time, but when I see Dina's face that looks relaxed and ordinary I am a little calm because at least there is Dina who accompanies me. After a while, we finally arrived at the 2nd floor which is where my room and Dina's room will be. 231, is the number written on my doorstep.

"This is our room," said Dina, opening the door

Then we both went in. And again I was surprised for the second time that the room that Dina and I will be staying in is a super large room, if this was a hotel, this room would definitely be an expensive luxury room.

“Din…is this really our room?” I asked while still staring at the room in amazement

"Yeah, hahaha, you're really funny, look at your expression just like someone who got a lottery" Dina laughed when she saw me dumbfounded in awe, "Come in, don't stay in front of the door," continued Dina.

I went into my room and packed my things. I tried to lie down and the mattress was so very comfortable, that it made me want to fall asleep right now but I didn't want to because I had to get cleaned up soon from such a long journey.

"Din, I want to take a shower, where is the bathroom?"

Dina who was also lying down immediately turned to me

"Oh it's on the left" she replied while pointing at the bathroom with her finger

Then I nodded while saying “thank you” to Dina. I thought I was quite surprised by this dorm, but the bathroom surprised me again. I really like staying in a 5 star hotel. After taking a shower, I immediately lay down on the bed because I was very tired, Dina was also lying on the bed next to me watching TV shows, then I started to open a conversation because I had something I wanted to ask

"Doesn't it seem like this dorm is really big?"

"Yes, li, do you want to go on a dormitory tour sometime? Later I'll show you what's going on here so that if I'm not in your dorm, you already know the rooms."

"Oh I’d love that" I replied cheerfully

"Okay then, now you better take a break, you must be tired, right?"

"Aren't you sleeping too?"

"I'm not sleepy yet, you go first," said Dina while still directing her gaze to the television.

I nodded, then closed my eyes getting ready for bed.

"Lia wake up li" Dina tried to wake me up by shaking my body

"Eummm" I got up with my eyes still half closed, then I sat down because I was still gathering strength to get up. To be honest I slept very well that night, it seems that this happened because I was too tired.

"Here, eat it, you've been sleeping for a long time," said Dina while giving me food.

"Thanks din" I said as I grabbed the food that Dina gave me, then I turned my gaze to the clock and how surprised I was when I saw the clock's hands had shown 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

"what's this? I actually slept all this time?” said me surprised, while turning my gaze towards the clock

"Why didn't you just wake me up? I woke up this late, didn't I?"

"I've been trying to wake you up, but it looks like you're really tired so I'll let you sleep a little longer, anyways we're starting college next week, so just relax," replied Dina while sitting on my bed.

"Btw, you're already tidy, where are you going?" I asked while shoving rice into my mouth and looking at the already tidy Dina, as if she was going somewhere.

"Oh this, I want to meet my Boyfriend hehe. oh yeah, he wants to play here and bring his friends too, I'll introduce you to them later, okay?"

"But Din, I'm a bit embarrassed, because I want to be seen no matter what, and wherever I come from, I'm not a girl who is fairly good looking and not as stylish as you, and I'm sure your friends must be good looking and very stylish," I said. while bowing my head in shame, to be honest the first time I saw Dina she was a very beautiful girl and also had a good sense of fashion, this things is already make me insecurea especially if I meet her friends I don’t know what to do.

"Hey, what are you talking about like that, I've never judged people by their appearance. And who says you're not pretty? You're pretty in your way, Lia" replied Dina whose voice slightly rose because she heard me say that, while holding my shoulders she assured me that what I said was wrong.

After that Dina finally said goodbye to go meet her boyfriend. I feel my insecurities have lessened a little thanks to Dina who has convinced me, she is a very good friend and I am grateful to know her. Oh yes, I almost forgot, before Dina left earlier, she told me that don't leave the room yet because the dormitory is being investigated by the authorities. I don't know why this dorm was inspected by the authorities, but Dina said there was one of the rooms that had drugs sneaked in it, Dina ordered to always be in the room until she came because if no one was in the room then the authorities would breaking and messing things up in the room. I was so curious but I couldn't hear anything from outside.

It's already 3 pm and Dina hasn't come back yet, I'm so bored. The thing that I have been doing since Dina left is just watching TV, there are things that make me surprised when I watch TV because on TV there are a lot of reports on missing people in this area and that makes me a little scared. I want to see the situation outside but unfortunately this window is covered by curtains but strangely these curtains are attached to the outside window so I can't open or close them as I want. I also couldn't call Mom and Dad because my own cellphone was being brought by Dina, she said that she would fix my handphone settings so that I could use it here. Instead of being bored, I just watched TV, but suddenly I remembered the letter that my mother and father gave me, I haven't had time to read it because I was too tired. Finally, I got up from the TV and started to reach into my bag to find the letter that Mom and Dad had given me. When I was looking for the letter, my doorbell rang and it seemed it was Dina.

I peeked through the small window on the door, and sure enough it was Dina. After confirming that it was Dina I immediately opened the door.

"It took so long to open the door," said Dina to me with a face that looked very annoyed

"what’s wrong with her?" I asked, in my mind

after Dina entered, there were two men who followed her in too

"Wait there, what are you two doing. You can’t come in" I said while holding the door with my hand so they couldn't get in

"Hey Lia, what are you doing they are my friends. Come in” said Dina who was leaning on the sofa, with a cold face and not smiling at all

Then the two men immediately removed my hands from near the door, I was still stunned there with a confused face.

"What happened to Diana? why did his attitude change like that? did I do something wrong?” These questions keep popping up in my brain.

"Hey you, come in," said one of the men to me

with a state that is still confused I closed the door and joined the gathering with all of them.

"What's your name?" One of the men asked, "My neme is Alvin. I’m Dina’s boyfriend and the guy next to her who looks at you with an intimidating look, his name is Kenny, he's originally from Boston but because he keeps hanging out with us, his Indonesian is fluent too," he said while holding out his hand and smile.

"I'm Lia" I replied while shaking his hand. It’s kinda awkward and I don’t know what should I do with them without Dina

"Well Lia, because you're Dina's friend means you're also our friend from now on" he said while still smiling at me

I nodded with a relief smile, then I started looking at Dina who was already asleep while leaning her head on Kenny's shoulder. Kenny himself immediately looked at me too with an intimidating look, because I was scared and didn't want to stare at him any longer I immediately turned my gaze towards Alvin who was already not in his place that he was sitting earlier, he was already in the kitchen to take some food in the fridge.

"Kenny bring her to her room" shouted Alvin from the kitchen

Kenny swiftly carried Dina to her bed.

I'm confused about what to do, I can't adjust myself to those two men, if only Dina wasn't like that maybe I could chat more with them.

"Lia, come here" Alvin asked after preparing some food. Then I came over to him.

"Here Lia, eat it" Alvin said while giving food to me

"Eh eh it's okay, I've already eaten anyway"

"it makes me sad to hear that, I've specially cooked for you even though. Don't be shy like that, I said we are friends"

that's right, Alvin has gone to great lengths to prepare this food I feel bad if I don't eat it after Alvin said that. Because actually I was also hungry, I finally received the food earlier

"That's right" said Alvin with a satisfied smile

then Kenny also sat next to me while eating the food that Alvin had made. Because I was very curious about what happened to Dina, I finally got up the courage to ask Alvin first

"Emm Alvin?" then Alvin turned to me "is something happen to Dina, was wrong with her?" I asked doubtfully

"she’s okay, you don’t have to worry. She just drank beer so she's like that" Alvin replied while eating his food

then I just nodded my head indicating that I understand. After the meal, time was shown at 8 pm, Alvin and Kenny saying goodbye to go home, before saying goodbye Alvin gave me my handphone.

"Is this your handphone? I've fixed it, now you can call your parents or activate the internet on your handphone," said Alvin while handing the handphone to me

I received it then thought of his gratitude, after that Alvin left the mineral water and told me to give it to Dina after she woke up, I nodded, then Alvin and Kenny went out. After the two left, I immediately checked my handphone and called my mother there. I really want to know how my mother is doing, my father can keep his promise right?

After several times I tried, my mother never picked up the phone from me. Of course this makes me worried, I'm afraid bad things will happen to my mother. Then during my 10th try finally my call was answered

"Hello" said the voice on the other end

"Hello mom" I replied excitedly

"sorry, who is this?" she asked

"is this with Ms. Desi's?"

"I'm not Ms. Desi, sorry I think you call the wrong number" after that she immediately hung up the telephone.

I'm silent, I don't know what to do now. Where's my mother? how this things can be happened? then,  I can only cry while thinking about my mother there, and also my fear of my father who might break his promise.

It was already 12 at night, after that incident I couldn't sleep well, I kept thinking about my mother there. I also can not tell Dina, she fell asleep very soundly.

DUGGG!!! suddenly there was a loud banging sound from outside the room, I was shocked half to death and wondered where the sound came from. Now that I think about it, today I haven't come out yet from this room at all so because I was curious I finally tried to open the bedroom door to peek at the situation outside. When I touched the door knob, suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Ahhhh" I screamed in fear while closing my eyes

"Hey sttttt! it's me Dina”

then I opened my eyes and sure enough it turned out that Dina who I saw a few moments ago was fall asleep actually had woken up from her sleep.

"You're awake already" I asked while still a little scared

but Dina didn't answer she just said "you go back first" she said while holding the door knob and I took a few steps back behind her. Dina started to open the door a little and started to peek out, after a while she started to go back in and immediately closed and locked the bedroom door.

"Why? what's going on outside?"

"You've never heard that every building has an occupant?"

"Okay stop stop, I don't want to hear it" I said while covering my ears tightly, because I was really afraid of stories related to supernatural beings.

"Hahaha are you afraid of that? even though humans are more scared” then Dina walked away and returned to her bed, I followed her from behind while still scared.

after that Dina didn't go to sleep, but instead she played on her handphone, then I remembered the bottle of drink that Alvin had entrusted to Dina.

"oh btw, this is from Alvin" I said while giving the bottle to Dina

"thank you" then Dina started drinking it "how about now you're already friends with my friend right" he continued after drinking the bottle

“Hehe, yeah, I think so” I replied, smiling shyly “but Din, the guy who name is Kenny, what’s wrong with him? what I see, I think he really hates me” I continued

"Yeah, Kenny is like that, when he's close, he'll be really nice"

"Hmmm, I see, but Din, are you really okay?"

"It's okay," answered Dina with a smile "Oh yeah, let's have a tour tomorrow," continued Dina

"really?? yes i like it" I replied excitedly, because I myself was very curious about this hostel

After that I finally started to get sleepy, without realizing I had fallen asleep in my sleep.

The next morning, I started to wake up by myself without being woken up by Dina. I looked at the clock and today I woke up at 9 am. I saw Dina still asleep, so I decided to take a shower first. After I finished taking a shower and was ready, Dina was awake and was preparing breakfast for her and for me.

“Come here, have breakfast before dorm tour”

I walked over to her and started to sit in the kitchen chair

"thank you"

"I'll get ready first, okay, you just eat first" Dina said then went to the bathroom.

after me and Dina finished, finally we started out of the room. After a while I finally could see outside again after a day of silence in the room.

"Here, these are the rooms on the 2nd floor, there are 3 rooms here including our room" Dina said while pointing it at me

"Other rooms are also big like ours din?" I asked

"no really, our room is the biggest"

I nodded and remember about something "btw, yesterday there was an examination, but why wasn't there any sound from outside?" I asked while walking with Dina

"what? hmm, I don't know either" she replied "we just go down to the 1st floor, let's go" Dina continued to change the subject

I feel something odd about yesterday's incident, it seems like Dina is hiding something from me.

After that we arrived on the 1st floor, on this floor there are 4 rooms arranged from end to end. It looks like a long hospital corridor. Then my eyes fell on the room at the far end, where the door was not parallel to the other rooms, the door was right in front of my eyes.

"Hey Din what room is it? Why is the direction of placement different? I asked confused

Dina looked at me with a smile, but for some reason her smile this time felt different from her usual smile. To be honest it gave me the creeps

"One day you will also enter that room" she replied, still smiling sinisterly "now let's go to the park, shall we?" then her smile turned into a cheerful and happy smile

"Why is this? why she’s like this "said my mind

Then finally we arrived at the dormitory garden which was really wide and beautiful, but very quiet.

"Din, those curtains, why are they put up outside the window?" I asked, pointing at the curtains hanging outside the window

"Yes, on purpose, so that our victims can't see out the window"

Huh what did she say? victim, what does she means by victim?

"What's victim?" I asked doubtfully

"huh what? what victim?” Dina asked back

"You said earlier about that the victim can't see the outside"

"Huh did I say that? I think you just mishearding" she replied casually

What's this? why do I feel something is hiding here.

Then suddenly there was a sound of a car coming, it turned out to be Alvin and Kenny

"Hey you guys" said Alvin and Kenny while approaching us both

"Hey" Dina said and hugged Alvin

"Hey Li, let me borrow Dina first. I want to take her for a walk."

"Oh no, I'm still in dormitary tour with her" Dina replied

"It's okay, Kenny can replace you for a while" said Alvin "Okay then, I leave you guys here"

"Li is it okay?" Dina said while holding my shoulder

"Yeah it's okay, just go" I replied with a smile

"Kenny I'll entrust Lia, watch out for you don't get hurt" Dina said before finally leaving with Alvin

after the two of them left, I didn't know what to do. The atmosphere was so awkward. We both sat on a park bench with our own busyness, I played my handphone even though there is nothing that can be seen in this handphone. Kenny suddenly started to open up a conversation between us.

"You're Lia, right?" he asked with a cold face

"Yeah" I replied with an awkward smile

Then after that, the atmosphere returned to silence.

"I heard you can speak Indonesian fluently?" I suddenly asking him about this, because I don’t know what topic do I have to talk about.

"Of course, I've been hanging out with them for years. And I'm studying too because they both force me to be able to speak Indonesian” he answered while looking at me

I just nodded, and I started to think Kenny was very different from the Kenny I met when we first met.

"you’re not that scarry"

"Scary? do you think I'm a ghost?" said Kenny with his little laugh

"It's not like that, I mean when we first met, you really looked at me with an intimidating look, so it scares me"

Kenny nodded his head, it seemed he agreed with what I said. Then after that we were still sitting on a park bench talking, and I didn't expect our chat to suit each other so well, that's why we kept on talking without getting bored and non-stop. I started to like chatting with him, because there are so many things he can tell me. After chatting continuously I finally found out why Kenny was always cold to people he first met, Kenny was always let down by people because he was always kind to others even it turned out that his parents were the main factor why he behaved like that, his parents left him for no reason.

"Sorry, I said too much right? You must be bored listening to it”

"No no, it's okay, I'm even glad you can tell me a lot about yourself"

"But I'm really sorry, I'm like this when I find people who are comfortable to talk to" he said with a smile, then I smiled too.

"Kenny, I hope you don't stop being a good person, okay?" I said, patting his shoulder and smiling

Kenny smiled bitterly as he replied,

"I can't, I've become a bad person" he said while slightly lowering his head

"No Ken, you're not bad. The environment forces you to do that, you're like that just to protect yourself and that's okay. Sometimes we have to be selfish in order to survive in this cruel world” I said while smiling assuring Kenny of himself. Kenny looked at me with a smile, and I was so happy to see this side of him.

"thank you very much. I'll protect you." He said as he put his hand on my shoulder

"protect me? protect from what?” I asked confused

Kenny was silent for a moment, then he started to speak,

"Listen to me okay. Alvin, Dina, and I are killers."

You should know, my heart seemed to stop beating there too.

"We can say dealer selling human internal organs, I was given the task of talking to the victim and then I would sedate the victim until he passed out. In the middle of the night we will start executing the victim” he said with a serious face

after hearing his words I started to stay away from Kenny,

"I don't believe it" I said a bit scared

"YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IT LIA! Why do you think there are no people in a big dormitory like this?" Kenny said while yelling at me and holding my shoulders.

I cried, cried in fear. After that Kenny started to calm me down but I immediately pushed his hand off my shoulder. Suddenly Alvin and Dina arrived at the dorm, Kenny told me to stop crying, but I couldn't stop crying.

Alvin and Dina started to approach us

"Lia, are you okay?" said Dina who came and hugged me

"Kenny, you start again huh. Please stop Ken” said Alvin, I heard him being confused for the umpteenth time, then I asked

"What do you mean by saying that? what’s wrong with Kenny?" I asked while wiping the tears on my cheeks

“He has two personalities, he likes to digress, spouting stories that don't even exist. You don't have to trust him too much," Alvin replied

“shit!” Kenny pushed Alvin angrily "Lia, don't believe what Alvin says, you have to believe me, WE ARE KILLER," said Kenny, shouting

I saw the normal looks on Alvin and Dina faces, this time I was very confused who should I trust?

"babe, Kenny's gone wrong, you better take him home" Dina chirped on the sidelines of Kenny's anger that was still rising

then Alvin started to take Kenny but Kenny insisted on taking me away

"Lia, you have to get out of here" shouted Kenny while being dragged away by Alvin, after which the two of them finally left in Alvin's car.

"Let's just go inside" Dina said

but I don't immediately follow it, I doubt it.

"Din... what Kenny said earlier was it true?" I asked doubtfully

“Do you trust Kenny more, do I? How long have you known Kenny? You just met him yesterday, how can you believe that?" answered Dina

I was speechless, right now I'm struggling with my own thoughts. who should i believe? what if Kenny said about is true? am I really going to die here?

"Don’t thinking about it too much, let’s go inside" said Dina, this time while holding my wrist. Then I just followed her and without realizing we had arrived in the room.

I was still silent while sitting on the sofa. Then at that time I remembered the letter from Mom and Dad that I had not opened. I immediately opened my bag and looked for the letter, after finding it I immediately took it to the bathroom because I don't trust anyone right now so I don't want Dina to see this.

I started to turn on the water faucet in the bathroom and quickly I started opening letters from my father first.

"My daughter Lia, I'm sorry. Father and mother were forced to sell you. Actually your scholarship application has not been received and what mother gave you was a plane ticket from someone who bought you. I'm sorry, Lia, I'm sorry"

my legs went limp after reading a letter from dad and i could only cry, i couldn't believe all of this, why did dad have the heart to do this to me, why? I don't even feel strong enough to read a letter from my mother, but it seems I have to read it.

“Lia… there is one thing that Mom and Dad haven't told you, actually you are not our biological child, your real father and mother passed away long before you grew up like this, they entrusted you to your father because he was your mother's younger brother. . Father and Mother can't support you anymore sweet heart, with our financially lacking. Forgive us Lia, we really don't deserve to be called parents. I love you baby"

I feel so stupid, mother is the person I trust the most in this world, when she gave me a plane ticket I immediately believed that it was from my scholarship. My heart was broken right then and there, I could only cry while holding my chest which really hurt after reading the letter. Right now, I just want to scream out loud.

"Why is the world so cruel to me? it seems like there is no reason for me to live in this world anymore” said my mind

But I can't just stay silent, I have to fight my hardest to get out of this place. Even though I have no reason to live, but I don't want to die stupidly in a place like this. Before I got out of the bathroom I began to realize. everything makes sense, about the odd things happening. Starting from Lia's attitude, then the curtains hanging outside, the room downstairs, the bang that I heard at night, then the case of missing people that I saw on TV. I took a deep breath and began to work up the courage to get out of the bathroom and when I came out, Alvin and Dina were already there staring intently at me. The gaze made me shiver in fear.

"You already know?" Dina asked unusually, her face looked very scary as if she was going to kill me right now.

without thinking I started running towards the door, I tried to open the door to this room but it never opened either.

"Hey, do you think we're stupid? No matter how hard you try, you can't get out of this room," said Dina, then laughed with Alvin

I shouted loudly "PLEASE" but no one could help me. I can't find my handphone, I can't do anything.

Alvin and Dina started approaching me slowly, I started cornered at the other end of the door and couldn't do anything anymore. Is this the moment I die? I thought.

when I was starting to give up on everything suddenly there was a car horn that made Alvin and Dina turn towards the sound then when they looked back I started hitting Alvin on the head using the flower vase that was there, Alvin immediately fell unconscious.

“HEY YOU CRAZY GIRL!!!!” Dina shouted loudly at me with her emotions already overflowing

Then I ran towards the window, then started breaking the glass using Dina's guitar that was there, when I was about to jump to get out Dina managed to catch me by grabbing my hair, after that I fell and Dina immediately hit me so hard that I ran out of energy, but suddenly the bedroom door opened and it was Kenny with his battered face. Without thinking he immediately removed Dina from me, I almost lost consciousness and did not know what Kenny was doing so that Dina also fell unconscious.

"Lia, come on, wake up"

but I was not strong anymore to get up, then Kenny immediately picked me up and brought me down. We immediately got into Kenny's car and drove straight from that place. The rest I don't know what happened because I had lost consciousness.

"Lia wake up" said Kenny while shaking my body

I heard it, but I was still half-conscious, then I began to slowly open my eyes and it turned out that I was already in the hospital.

"oh my god, thank goodness you're okay" Kenny said then hugged me "don't worry anymore because I have reported them to the police" continued Kenny while releasing his hug

“why did you report to the police? it would be dangerous for you too right?”

“I know, it's okay, the important thing is you are safe. I will be taken to the police station until your condition improves”

"Are you okay?" I asked him again

I then started to shed tears again, I was relieved to survive all of that but I felt empty, what should I do now. Then Kenny hugged me back while patting my back gently

"You don't have to be sad because now you have me. I promise I will never leave you and will always be there for you" Kenny said then he held my hand "I also don't have anyone in this world anymore, but at least you are there, so I have a reason to stay here" said Kenny

"Kenny... why do you want to do this heinous thing?" I asked Kenny

“I was actually framed too, they asked me to start a business but it turned out that the business they meant was to kill innocent people. I already want to stop this heinous thing, but they lured me by saying that they would bring me together with my parents” he replied then fell silent “even though I hate them, there are still many things I want to ask them. why did they leave me without saying goodbye and without reason? This question will never leave my mind," he continued

After hearing that I couldn't help but be silent, I didn't know what to say to Kenny with my situation like this. Sad, one word that comes out of my mind to describe our current situation. Kenny and I were silent, struggling with our own thoughts
